Quick guide for beginners
On RoA there are 3 islands: Arakas, Raven's Dust and Stoneheim
There are two main gods that determine your path: Artherk (good) and Ogrimar (evil)
You start on Arakas in the town of Lighthaven. Your first objective is to reach the level 40 to be able to go to the second island.
Once you have reached level 40, head to the town of Windhowl and find the NPC Parandar and Solis in front of the temple.
Parandar (Must be level 40) asks if you have chosen Artherk and Solis (Must be level 40) if you have chosen Ogrimar.
Answer the keywords and you can then go to the second island by speaking to the NPC Liurn Clar located at the wizard's tower Windhowl.
Now you are on Raven's Dust. Here your objective is simple, to reach level 70 that allows you to go to the third island.
Once you're level 70, find the NPC Briag and Fabian behind the temple of Silversky.
Briag (100 000 gold) for Artherk and Fabian (100 000 gold) for Ogrimar.
Answer the keywords to go to the third island by speaking to the NPC Zhakar that is located on a fortress surrounded by mountains.
You are now on Stoneheim. It is here that your final objective will become true, reaching level 100.
Once you're level 100, find the NPC Atlance and Rickune near the temple of Stonecrest.
Atlance for Artherk.
- 1 Red Spellbook, 1 Ring of pure faith, 1 Blank Magical Tome, 1 Gem Of The Immortal, 1 Jade Ring Of Sorcery, 1 Blade Of Heroism, 1 Finely crafted drum and 500 000 gold
Rickune for Ogrimar.
- 1 Spider Venom, 1 Bloodstone ring, 1 Dagger Of Bleeding, 1 Raw Crystal, 1 Tarantula Fang, 1 Human Bone, 1 Essence of Bloodlust and 500 000 gold
Answer the keywords to be able to go to the Oracle located on the isle of the invisible bridge of Stoneheim.
Speak to the Oracle, tell him the word “ready to reborn” and “yes”.
You've reached your first rebirth, there are 2 of them on RoA, it's up to you to continue your adventure!
You still have the option of doing the original access quests from The Fourth Coming, they have been simplified slightly.
Sanctuary
You can set your sanctuary in the temple of your choice. Setting a sanctuary means that in case of death or use of an item/spell of “recall”, the character will go in his sanctuary
There are 4 possible choices:
- Lighthaven's temple > Kilhiam for 1 500 gold
- Windhowl's temple > Brother Harforr for 5 000 gold
- Silversky's temple > Brother Thorkas for 15 000 gold
- Stonecrest's temple > Nissus Haloseeker for 25 000 gold
Say the keyword “sanctuary” and “yes” to the NPC that suits you to set your sanctuary.
